Design Assistant


Reporting to the Salesman, the Design Assistant will provide administrative and design support

Direct Reports:



  1. Aid Salesman in qualifying, tracking and following up on sales leads through various sources.

  2. Provide design support by utilizing proprietary systems and 20-20 Design software to fulfill all aspects of jobs

  3. Accurately prepare and process sales and order packets

  4. Maintain organized records of design files and job records

  5. Assist customers with inquiries, quotes, and sales by phone or in the showroom as required.

  6. Accompanies SM on job sites to take measurements and notes on prospective jobs

  7. Works cooperatively and shares duties as needed

  1. Demonstrates ability to effectively track and assist in the conversion of sales leads

  2. Demonstrates proficiency/continued development in kitchen and bath design using 20-20 Design software and knowledge of associated products

  3. Provides accurate and timely processing of sales and service work orders

  4. Actively contributes to Design Team meeting monthly sales goals

  5. Shows initiative in sharing duties with designers and management

  6. Identifies opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased profits

  7. Develops constructive, positive relationships with our contractors and employees, understanding that satisfied customers will benefit all.

  8. Comply with all company policies and procedures

  9. Provide daily feedback on problems and concerns

  10. Recognize that you represent the Company, its image and our employees whenever you are in public or interacting with customers
