JOB SUMMARY
WorkSource is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor for the 3rd Shift Wire Harness Department. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a small team to maximize efficiency and productivity. Your team will be accountable for assembling and troubleshooting wire harnesses. Although prior wire harness experience is not required, you must have previous Supervisor experience. JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervision of the Wire harness department. 
  • Assembly of wiring harnesses using hand tools and proper assembly techniques.
  • Responsible for training, instruction, directing, and admonition of employee performance while maintaining good employee relations. 
  • Troubleshoot and test assemblies.
  • Preparing layout boards for new engineering designs
  • Defining new cut sheets for new assemblies
  • Develop new test fixtures and define quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Supervisor experience required.
  • Vocational or technical training in electrical trades or electronics is a plus.
  • Understanding of measurements.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
  • Proficient with hand tools.
  • Good Communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic PC knowledge
