CNC Machinist

JOB SUMMARY

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITES

• Operate and maintain CNC machines to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, shaping, and finishing materials

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine specifications and requirements

• Set up machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to instructions

• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed

• Inspect finished products for quality control and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITES:

• Previous experience operating CNC machines or similar equipment is preferred

• Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory management

• Ability to assemble and fabricate components using hand tools and welding equipment

• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints

• Ability to read a tape measure, micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus

• Strong math skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations accurately

• The ability to push, pull, manuever 50+ plus pounds

• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and lift for entirety of shift.
