Job Description
WorkSource is currently partnered with a lawn mower blade manufacturer located around 12th street near 435. This company was founded in 1940, and is an internationally recognized supplier. We are hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift Press Operators. The ideal candidate is capable of fast paced and repetitive work, interested in a positive team culture, and looking for a long-term home. $17.50 to start1st shift 6a-4p M-Thur | 2nd shift 4p-2a M-Thur Responsibilities of the Press Operator
- Place blade in press, ensure blade is located in press as instructed by die setter, making sure blade is against locators
- Punch Press operation, active the press using the two hand trip or foot pedal, ensuring the blade is hled in place by the press
- at least 3 months experience in a similar manufacturing environment i.e. assembly, production, manufacturing or packaging
- lift/carry up to 35 lbs frequently
- stand for 10 hour shift
- enlgish fluency for safety, training and documentation purposes
