JOB SUMMARY
Our well-established manufacturing client is hiring for aa newly created role.  This new department has been in operation for about 5 years and is rapidly growing.  As an Upfit Technician, you will have the opportunity to learn everything there is about servicing and fixing generators. No prior experience is necessary. The sole purpose of this role is to evolve into a management and director level role.  This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you are looking for a career with career advancement, willing to work hard, learn a new trade, and are dependable, this could be your shot! JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITES
  • Diagnose, repair, and install electrical components on generator upfits and builds.
  • Recognize and select the appropriate tool for a corresponding task, and while working with a teammate.
  • Learn and understand the protocols of working safely with the department and a manufacturing setting.
  • Work with a computer to list items via part numbers.
  • Pull and run wiring.
  • Make assessment pertaining to mounting inside/outside motorized and gravity louvers. 
  • Operate Forklift as needed.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITES:
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Must Be Able to Read Tape Measures
  • Must Have Basic Tools.
  • Self-Driven and Go-Getter Attitude
  • Problem Solver
  • Ability To Work Without Supervision. 
  • Safey Shoes (Steel Toe or Composite)
