Data Center - Sanitation/Janitorial Crew
Pay Rate:
$15.00 hour / 40+hours per week     ** Pay increases are possible for reliable, consistent workers

Standard Day Shift: Mon Fri >> 6: 30AM SHARP 3: 30PM
Standard Second Shift: Mon Fri >> 3: 00pm SHARP 11: 30PM

Duties may include the following and others not listed.
Cleaning inside, and outside completed data centers, office trailers (including rest rooms) or other buildings.
Power washing outside (during warmer months)

Requirements include the following.
Must be able to bend, stoop, reach (from floor to above head), clean with hands all day, lift 40 lbs, stand on feet all day, walk distances on a construction site, work in hot or chilly temperatures, work from a 6ft ladder, learn to work from a scissor lift (No cost to employee), work at an acceptable pace to meet deadlines, ability to work unsupervised, speak English fluently, have transportation to and from various work sites including multiple locations in the same work day, ability to work overtime and/or Saturdays as required, ability to work at various sites as needed in the Des Moines area including West Des Moines and Cumming sites.

Additional information
Safety is big. Strict rules will apply in regards to limited cell phone use, no music allowed on job site. Snacks and beverages other than water are not allowed in places other than the break/lunch tent. Safety gear is required at all times while on the job site. Protective eyewear, hard hat, steel toe boots or shoes that cover the ankle, level 2 cut resistant gloves and a high visibility vest, shirt or jacket with reflective strips is required on the outside of clothing at all times after leaving vehicle.
Workers are expected to be mature and respectful of all others on the construction site. Workers must be able to work closely and communicate within a small group.
Be prepared with winter clothing while walking on site between buildings: facemask, scarf, winter hat worn under hard hat.
They generally take breaks in a heated lunch tent where there are microwaves and drinking water. There are usually vending machines that take cash or cards. Most workers bring a bagged lunch. There is sometimes a food truck selling hot food. Workers do not leave for lunch because there are no restaurants nearby. Portable restrooms are available for use. Sometimes heated restrooms with running water are available.


*** Mandatory OT may be required! Workers may be required to work unplanned overtime, and without exception, must be willing/able to work any shift as needed.
OT shifts are as follows:
First Shift: 6: 30am-5: 00pm Monday Saturday (10 hour shift, plus 30min unpaid lunch / 60hr week)
Second Shift: 3: 00pm-1: 30am Monday Saturday (10 hour shift, plus 30 min unpaid lunch / 60hr week)

Be advised, there is a zero-tolerance program in place. Poor attendance, being late, or failing to perform effectively, will result in immediate termination.
