Job Description

WorkSource is currently staffing for a Packaging manufacturer located in Mission/ Prairie Village area of Johnson county Kansas. There are a few different roles available, Laminator Operators, Slitter Production Operators and Press Operators. These positions range from $18-$24 to start. This is a 4 day on 12 hour schedule, three days off, and includes a $3, 000 sign on bonus.Responsibilities of the Laminator, Slitter and Press Operators
  1. Running and maintenance of machine and station
  2. Maintain production logs
  3. Utilize a variety of hand tools, including slitter knives
Requirements of the laminator, Slitter and Press Operators
  1. Mechanical incline
  2. 5+ years Machine Operator experience preferred
  3. For Press Operator: 5+ years wide web flexographic printing experience preferred
  4. Attendance: Company is family oriented and flexible for established employees, with PTO available right at 60(90) days. However, during initial 60 days, 1 day missed extends probation to 90 days, and 2 days missed during first 90 days is immediate termination.
