JOB SUMMARY
WorkSource is currently hiring a Laser Operator for an industry leading metal identification solutions provider with 100+ years of manufacturing experience. We are looking for an energetic, smart Laser Operator. The successful candidate will operate a Coherent or IPG Laser, fabricating both stainless and aluminum plates.
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITES
  • Operation of a Coherent or IPG Laser
  • Participate in Daily Continuous Improvement.
  • Locate and open a fabrication program on the server.
  • Perform a First Article Inspection.
  • Loading and Unloading metal flats from a Coherent Laser.  
  • Tap out, buff, weigh count and shrink wrap individual parts.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITES:
  • Mechanical, computer and math skills needed
  • Willing and able to work with chemicals
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
