JOB SUMMARY
If you're looking for a position where you can use your skills and expertise, responsibility and maturity, this is your opportunity. The Property Maintenance Tech will be working with minimal supervision under the property manager, maintaining the properties and keeping them in a safe sound, and operational condition. (Electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, etc.). We need someone that is not afraid to think and tackle tasks on their own, and work with a high degree of professionalism.
 
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITES
  • Apartment Maintenance
  • Completing repair work orders and scheduling preventative maintenance
  • Repairing ovens, refrigerators, furnaces, hot water heaters, air conditioning, motors, pumps, and all equipment
  • Maintaining/clearing interior and exterior drain lines
  • Window repair/replacement - broken windows, screen inserts, shades, brackets, rods, etc.
  • Minor carpentry, electrical systems, water, gas and sewer lines, roofs, walls, floors, gutters and downspouts
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITES:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Clean criminal background
  • Personal basic hand tool set (hammer, cutters, tape measure, drill, screw drivers)
  • must be available for overtime when necessary, and to handle emergency requests after work hours.
  • Ability to speak, understand and read English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals required
