Position: Shipping & Receiving
Type: Full Time / Perm
Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Days: Mon thru Friday
Total Hours: 40 Hours per week (occasional overtime)
Pay: $15.00hr to start (company offers stable employment, solid advancement, and great benefits)

Key Details:
This is a manufacturing, production environment in the truck sector. Company manufactures, retro-fits and repairs tanker trucks. Candidates should have experience in a shop\factory environment, and be adept with tools, machinery, and driving large vehicles.
Duties: 
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent receives incoming packages, distributes to proper storage locations in the warehouse and ensures area remains organized. The Clerk also prepares outgoing packages for shipping.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions:
Shipping (40%)
Utilize shipping software to prepare package labels for shipping
Pack, seal and label packages to prepare items for shipping
Confer or correspond with internal customers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications
Request and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain necessary inventory
Receiving (40%)
Examine shipment contents for damage and to compare with records such as manifests, invoices, and orders to verify accuracy
Record shipment damages or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes
Receive parts into inventory by making entries in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
Organizing & Distributing (20%)
Distribute parts to appropriate holding locations, both manually and via forklift/pallet jack
Maintain warehouse bins by ensuring correct labeling, replacing labels when necessary, and keeping bins clean
Confirm warehouse bins contain correct parts
Organize parts stored on warehouse shelves
Deliver parts both manually and via pallet to various departments on the premises
Sweep and remove debris from warehouse bin aisles

Non-Essential Functions:
Building, Repairing, and Replacing Components
Build and repair hoses by cutting sections to length, mitering hose ends, and attaching, crimping and/or bending ferrules and bands, using tools such as calipers and hydraulic draw bar machinery
Perform continuity tests on hoses using multi-meter to ensure prevention of electrostatic charge build up in hoses
Use tap and die tools to form and rethread bolts, and create threaded sockets
Replace petroleum fluid delivery system hoses and nozzles for Service Department customer equipment
Fleet-Vehicle and Equipment Management
Coordinate daily movement, and ensure operational preparation of fleet vehicles and motorized equipment
Grounds Maintenance
Remove snow and ice from business premises using shovel, snow blower, ice-melt push spreader and pickup/ tractor-mounted plow



a) Meets WorkSource 2019 background standards
b) Valid DL and insurable driving record
c) HS diploma or equivalent
d) Reliable, with proven work history; responsible and dependable.
e) Experience operating large trucks/trailers/equipment
f) Hoist/Crane operation experience
g) Experience in industrial/manufacturing/shop/mechanical environment
