Job Description

Worksource is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for a family-owned recycling company in Kansas City MO. They’ve specialized in processing copper, aluminum and all types of metal for four generations. The ideal candidate is looking for a day shift position near front street, has experience working in an industrial environment and steel toes, working both indoors and outdoors in a loud environment, and is looking for a company to stay and grow with for the long term.
6:30am-3pm M-F for the summer, will switch to 7:30a-4pm at a later date
Responsibilities of Warehouse Worker
  • direct and coordinate shipping/receiving
  • maintain a safe/clean warehouse
  • assist in monitoring and maintaining all production equipment
  • Verify and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as forklifts, truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
  • prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming material; and possibly arranging for the transportation of products
  • Achieve established warehouse production, shipping, and receiving goals, i.e. sorting, loading, baling, shearing, etc
