Job Description

WorkSource is currently looking for Tool Changers for a foam manufacturer. This is a maintenance type position, requires the use of hand tools, reading of basic schematics and work instructions, and some physical labor. The ideal candidate has some of their own basic hand tools, wrenches, pliers, screw drivers etc. A strong work ethic and a positive attitude. This position does not require significant manufacturing maintenance experience, but knowing or having used a press in the past is a great help.
Responsibilities of the Tool Changer/ maintenance worker
  • The presses and molds need to be changed per customer order. The Tool changer/ maintenance worker will work on tools in the maintenance department between jobs, measuring and adjusting according to order specifications.
  • Replace seals, fill guns, knock outs and other accessories as needed to support production.
  • remove and install tools into designated presses based on directions from supervisor.
  • must be able to operate forklift.
Requirements of the Tool Changer/ Maintenance Worker
  • Driver’s License
  • able to lift 50+ pounds
  • basic math
