JOB SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Packaging Technician to perform all phases of the production filling/packaging line using good manufacturing principles We have first and second shift available!
 
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITES
  • Perform job tasks on packaging production conveyor line
  • Put empty containers onto conveyor line
  • Checking cap machine or hand placing caps onto filled containers
  • Checking container for obvious filling errors and cap tightening
  • Reviewing label machine for proper labeling of containers
  • Inspecting container for proper coding and label positioning
  • Placing container into cardboard boxes
  • Placing cardboard boxes thru automatic tapers or hand taping boxes and placing them onto pallets
  • Moving pallets with hand truck/lift and shrink wrapping completed pallet
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITES:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and write
  • Maintain a professional attitude
