Job Description

A manufacturer specializing in packaging and commercial printing located in Burlington, IA, is seeking experienced candidates to fill a Press Assistant vacancy in their Press Department on 2nd shift.

Summary: The Printing Press Assistant is responsible for supplying technical and labor support to the press department.  
Essentials Duties/Responsibilities 
  • Supply press operators with necessary supplies 
  • Keep press area clean 
  • Keep the presses running when necessary
  • Mix Ink and adjust as needed 
  • Assist with wash ups 
  • Clean plates 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Skills/Experience 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • General Math skills 
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures 
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
